Let me show you how...
Negative thought: my body is weak and pathetic
1) feels like it's true cos I feel like crap.
2) well no, probably not... I've made two healthy babies with my body! I've battled numerous illness and I'm still going.
3) this makes me feel rubbish. Useless. Frustrated. Miserable.
4) if I didn't have this thought, I could focus on the good stuff in this moment - the blue sky, this comfy sofa...
And another ...
Negative thought: I'm never going to get better.
1) yeah, it's been 2.5 years of this bleurgh
2) ok fine... I can't be sure I won't get better. And actually I've been making good progress in healing.
3) depressed, hopeless, despair, unfairness
4) if I didn't have this thought I can be hopeful and positive and focus on the good stuff in this moment ...
